I've been collecting odd instruments from around the world for a few years and quite like to bang and pluck and strum on things. I took classical guitar training twenty years back with the phenomenal Abri Jordaan, and still bring out the sheet music on occasion for some messing about.
The ominous strains of the last band I played in, Maritz van den Berg's poetry band Die Plesier Parade can still be heard at: www.reverbnation.com/regteplesierparade.
In the last few years, I've been experimenting with improvised spoken word collaborations with a variety of musicians and DJ's, including Tony Bental, Warrick Sony, Justin Kourie and Francois le Roux (the HA! man).
